About Jönköping University
Jönköping University is a young professional-oriented university characterized by a high degree of internationalization, an entrepreneurial spirit and extensive collaboration with surrounding society. About Program
The master’s program in product development, specialization in assistive technology is a full-time, two-year master’s program which focuses on innovative product development and/or manufacturing of assistive devices for individuals with disabilities. The program aims to provide students with knowledge and skills related to product development, design and manufacturing and is specifically targeted towards preparing graduates for a career within the assistive technology sector. The development of assistive technologies requires a unique combination of medical and engineering knowledge. As such, the program is open to students with backgrounds in prosthetics and orthotics or mechanical engineering.
